The Select Competitive Program

Offering intermediate-advanced developmental training by licensed coaches in sessions and competitions held throughout the state.  Participation on a Select team is by evaluation and invitation.  The Select Parent-Player Contract describes expectations and policies for the program.

2019-20 Season Info

FEES

There is NO CHARGE for Tryouts.

  • Select Academy U7-U10 (Birth years 2010-2013) : $415.00 total for the season. Payment plan: Registration fee of $85 due by August 1. Then 6 payments of $55 from Sept-Nov and Jan-Mar.

  • Select U11-U12 (2008-2009) : $800. total. Registration fee $180 before May 31. Registration fee increases to $190 from June 1-31 and increases to $200 if you register in July - Aug. Then 8 payments of $77.50 from Aug- March.

  • Select U13-U14 (2006-2007) : $835 total. Payment plan: Registration fee $185 before May 31. Fee increases to $195 through June and increases to $205 if you register in July-Sept. Then 5 payments of $85.00 + 3 Payments of $75 Aug-March.

  • Select U15-U18 (2005-2002): $745. total. Payment plan: Registration fee $195 through May, increases to $205 through June, then to $215 if you register in July -Sept. Then 5 Payments of $95 from Aug-Nov & Feb. Final payment is $75 in March.

  • Select fees provide:

    • Training jersey

    • Approx. 6+ games played locally and in the greater Phoenix area

    • Tournaments depending on entrance fee

    • 7+ months of training by USSF licensed coaches

    • Field, equipment, administration and league registration fees.

      (Uniforms are purchased separately.)

The first registration payment is due upon acceptance to the team. Monthly payments begin August 1.

Select participation is by evaluation and invitation of the coach.

Birth Certificates Are Required! ALL players must submit a copy of player's birth certificate by July 1st to be able to participate.

***If your player has a foreign birth certificate they will need an International Clearance form completed. Please follow the link below, complete and submit ALL necessary documents AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE to avoid delays.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The financial assistance application window is now closed.

Hardship financial assistance is determined by YSC based on factors such as need, family size, situation and available funds.

Financial assistance applications are accepted from May 1- June 1.
