The Select Competitive Program

Offering intermediate-advanced developmental training by licensed coaches in sessions and competitions held throughout the state.  Participation on a Select team is by evaluation and invitation.  The Select Parent-Player Contract describes expectations and policies for the program.

TRYOUTS

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we will not be holding large Tryout events in May.  Upon approval from authorities,  small group player evaulations may be held at a later date.  We encourage everyone to fill out the FREE TRYOUT SIGNUP now which lets us know you're interested.  We will notify everyone when we receive more information.  

 
2020-21 Season Info

FEES

There is NO CHARGE for Tryouts.

Select Academy U7-U10 (Birth years 2014-2011)
Pay in full: $415.00.
Payment plan: Registration fee of $85 is due by August 1. Then 6 payments of $55 in Sept, Oct, Nov and Jan, Feb, Mar.

Select U11-U12 (Birth years 2010-2009)
Pay in full: $820.00
Payment plan option: Registration fee depends on the date you register. $180 in May; $190 in June; $200 in July and August.
Then 8 payments of $77.50 each month from August- March.

Select U13-U14 (Birth years 2008-2007)
Pay in full: $835.00.
Payment plan: Registration fee is $185 before May 31; $195 in June; $205 in July-Sept.
Then 5 payments of $85.00 in Aug- Dec + 3 Payments of $75 Jan-March.

Select U15-U19 (Birth years 2006-2002)
Pay in full $745.00
Payment plan: Registration fee is $195 before May 31; $205 in June; $215 in July -Sept.
Then 5 Payments of $95 from Aug-Nov & Feb. Final payment is $75 in March.

  • Select fees provide:

    • Training jersey

    • Approx. 6+ games played locally and in the greater Phoenix area

    • Tournaments depending on entrance fee

    • 7+ months of training by USSF licensed coaches

    • Field, equipment, administration and league registration fees.

      (Uniforms are purchased separately.)

The first registration payment is due upon acceptance to the team. Monthly payments begin August 1.

REGISTRATION

Select participation is by evaluation and invitation of the coach. After Tryouts, players who are offered a position are encouraged to register right away for the early rate. We would normally begin on August 1 but we may seek to begin training in July in 2020.

Please make sure that each checkbox on the right of the screen is completed.

When you receive a pop-up window of "wallet info", close it and "Continue" through the main registration form.

Birth Certificates Are Required! ALL players must submit a copy of player's birth certificate by July 1st to be able to participate.

***If your player has a foreign birth certificate they will need an International Clearance form completed. Please follow the link below, complete and submit ALL necessary documents AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE to avoid delays.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Hardship financial assistance may be available for the monthly team fees. The registration fee and uniform fees are not eligible.

Assistance is determined by YSC based on factors such as need, family size, economic situation and available funds.

Financial assistance applications are accepted from May 1- June 30.
