The Select Competitive Program

Offering intermediate-advanced developmental training by licensed coaches in sessions and competitions held throughout the state from August- April.  Participation on a Select team is by evaluation and invitation.

FEES

"Select Academy", U7-U10: $415 for the 6 month season.

Registration fee of $85 is due by July 1.

Select Academy fees provide:

  • Two training jerseys
  • Minimum of 10 games played locally and in the greater Phoenix area
  • 1 ASA Academy tournament
  • 7 months of training by USSF licensed coaches
  • Field, equipment, administration and league registration fees.

Select U11-U12: $725 for the 9 month season. Registration fee is $165 before June 1 and increases thereafter.

Select U13-U14: $760 for the 8 month season. Registration fee is $170 before June 1 and increases thereafter.

Select U15 & Older: $670 for a 6 month season. Registration fee is $180 before June 1 and increases thereafter.

Select fees provide:

  • Two training jerseys
  • Minimum of 9 league games played primarily in the greater Phoenix area
  • Minimum of 2 competitive tournaments
  • 9 months of training by USSF licensed coaches
  • Field, equipment, administration and league registration fees.

(Uniforms are purchased separately.)

REGISTRATION

Select participation is by invitation. Registration instructions are provided:

  • In person at the Select Parent Meeting on May 7 at 6:00pm at the PV Library
  • In person at Dick's Sporting Goods store on August 1 at 5:30pm.

Birth Certificates Are Required!

ALL players, INCLUDING RETURINING PLAYERS, must submit a copy of player's CERTIFIED birth certificate by August 1st to be able to participate.

***If your player has a foreign birth certificate they will need an International Clearance form completed. Please follow the link below, complete and submit ALL necessary documents AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE to avoid delays.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Hardship financial assistance is available based on need and available funds. All Select players applying for financial assistance must apply for the Max In Motion scholarship through YSC. The deadline to apply for MIM is June 15.

Yavapai Soccer reserves the right to determine the amount of financial assistance granted.
